Call for Abstract

The First International Symposium on Soil Nutrient Cycling along Chronosequences and its Implications for Ecological Restoration（SNCC2024) will be held between 6-11 May 2024 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. We welcome worldwide scientists and researchers to share their most up-to-date findings at this conference. SNCC2024 welcomes the submission of abstracts. Abstracts will be accepted for oral presentation and poster categories. The submission period will close on April 17, 2024, at 11:59 PM CST (China Standard Time) in Beijing.

The output of this workshop will be a special issue in Plant and Soil, Journal of Mountain Science, and Mountain Research (Chinese version).

	Conference Themes
The themes include but are not limited to: • Weathering and pedogenic processes along chronosequences • Biogeochemical processes of nutrient mobilization during pedogenesis and primary succession along chronosequences • The roles of microorganisms in nutrient cycling during pedogenesis and primary succession along chronosequences • Mechanisms of plant acquisition and utilization of nutrients along chronosequences • Plant-microorganism interaction in nutrient cycling during primary succession • Inspiration of knowledge on nutrient cycling along chronosequences for ecological restoration on harsh debris environment in geological hazard areas
	Requirements for Abstract Submission
• Abstracts may be submitted for oral or poster presentations.   • Submissions for this conference are only accepted in English. • The abstract is limited to a maximum of 800 words. • Each First author is limited to submitting only one abstract. • Abstract can only be submitted via the website. Abstract submitted by fax or e-mail will not be accepted. • Abstracts can be re-edited and modfied until the submission deadline. • Only abstract of presenting authors who have completed their registration by the deadline of registration will be scheduled for presentation.
